How to reach the Hotel Post

How to arrive at our hotel in Valdaora/Olang, Val Pusteria/Pustertal Valley - The Hotel Post Tolderhof is located in Valdaora about 8 km east of Brunico, the main town in the Val Pusteria Valley.

Getting to your holiday destination in Val Pusteria, South Tyrol is easy because "all roads lead to Valdaora”!

Getting there by car:

Take the Bressanone/Brixen-Val Pusteria/Pustertal exit on the Modena-Brennero A22 motorway and follow the signs to Val Pusteria in the direction of Brunico/Bruneck-Dobbiaco/Toblach-San Candido/Innichen. It takes approximately 45 minutes to arrive in Valdaora. At the Valdaora/Mezzo Valdaora di Sopra (Mitterolang-Oberolang) intersection, turn left towards Valdaora and you’ll reach our establishment in 1 km. Your GPS will help to guide you there.

Arriving by bus

From the North
Baden-Württemberg: on Saturdays from March – November there are comfortable and modern bus liners operating a two-way bus service on the Baden-Württemberg (Stuttgart - Ulm) - South Tyrol route.
Bavaria: Rauch Reisen, the South Tyrolean travel agency, operates a year-round two-way bus service with comfortable modern coaches, from Munich to Valdaora/Olang. You can receive more information and make your reservations with Rauch Reisen in South Tyrol
From the South
Trieste: SAF Bus operates a daily coach service departing Trieste at 06:40am arriving in Alta Val Pusteria/San Candido at 11:50am. From there, take the train to Valdora.

Arrival by train

From North
The main rail link is on the Innsbruck – Bolzano Brenner Line. Change trains at Fortezza/Franzensfeste to the modern, well-connected regional line through Val Pusteria to Valdaora. We’ll come to collect you free of charge at the Valdaora train station.
From the West
If you’re coming from Switzerland, first take the train from Zurich – Innsbruck, then proceed as above.

Arriving by plane

Air travel in South Tyrol is quite straightforward. Thanks to the numerous local airports, you can fly at practically any time of the year. There are also good bus and train connections or you can rent a car at the airport.
