Under Hannes Weilaner, three-time Italian chariot racing champion, the famous Tolderhof Horse Riding School is the largest tourist equestrian centre in South Tyrol, offering everything you could possibly imagine for a vacation on horseback.
Whether it’s across snow-covered fields or over green meadows: horse riding is an unforgettable leisure activity that can be practiced in all the seasons! This is especially true at the Tolderhof, where the pristine mountain landscape of the Dolomites is there to be explored.
The Tolderhof has a suitable program tailored to each guest. Our internationally qualified riding instructors give lessons on the rudiments of horse riding, skills improvement or tips on just staying in the saddle for a leisurely ride. Our half-breeds and Haflinger horses have the best possible training, with a number of them schooled by us, some of which have also taken part in races and competitions. The equestrian centre consists of: the riding school (30 x 60 m), luminous stables (20 x 40 m), field track (80 x 100 m), box for your horse and a storeroom for riding equipment.
Depending on the individual skill-level we have an appropriate programme for every age group, with more time needed for beginners, as well as supervised lessons and rides on the idyllic farms. The entire family can also relax and admire the spectacular Alpine scenery from the comfort of a horse-drawn carriage. In addition, the Tolderhof Riding School also shows how to drive a horse-drawn carriage.
